This feature works irrespective of your location with the vehicle, you can be in Mombasa and the vehicle is in Kisumu and it will work, better yet you can even be outside the country and the feature will still work, needless to say, the functionality of this feature is not affected by your distance from the vehicle.
What’s interesting, the Stop engine commands can be sent via the car tracking App or via SMS. I know you’re wondering, switch off the vehicle via SMS? Yes, with just a simple SMS message you can remotely stop the vehicle engine and prevent misuse or even theft.
However, this feature is optional and it’s also not advisable to be used with some high-end car models like Audis and Mercedes Benz, before installation is done the technician will advise on whether to include or not to include the relay as part of the installation.
